Assumption of biofuel contribution to Australian economy 2050
From MoxyWiki
The CSIRO has used data from Foran & Crane (2002) and Foran and Mardon (1999)[1] to model various emission scenarios using biomass to generate electricity and fuel. One of the resulting scenarios states that 20% of Australia's electricity and transport needs could be supported by 10 Mha of plantations, including oil mallee, by 2050.
The CSIRO [2] predicts a total consumption of tranport fuels in Australia to be 1100 PJ/yrinfo.png'1100 PJ/yr'
