Bowen Basin

The Bowen Basin is located in central Queensland^[1] , with its centre at about location -22.553147, 148.699951Latitude: 22°33′11.329″S
Longitude: 148°41′59.824″E.

The Bowen Basin contains about 21000 Mt ^[2], i.e. about 71%, of the State's coal resources including virtually all of Queensland's prime coking coal reserves^[1].
