Butanol

From MoxyWiki

Butanol is a four carbon straight chain alcohol, also known as 1-butanol or n-butanol, which can be used as a transport fuel. Butanol has a higher energy density than ethanol. Research is being conducted by DuPont and BP into the potential of butanol as a second generation biofuel[1].

It has a density of 810 kg/m3info.png
