CarbonNet Loy Yang CCS project

The planned CarbonNet project of the State of Victoria is situated in the La Trobe valley of Victoria, and is an integrated multi-user capture, transport and storage infrastructure project, with sources of CO₂ from electricity generating plans in that area^[1]_,^[2]

In December 2009 the CarbonNet project was short-listed for pre-feasibility funding under the Commonwealth Government's AUD2.4bn CCS Flagships Program^[3].
