Collie Basin

The Collie Basin is in the south west of Western Australia.
The Collie Basin is Basin is about 26 km long and about 13 km wide. Collie Basin coal reserves are estimated to be 1330 Mt[1]. The basin contains three distinct groups of coal seams which are the Muja, Premier and Ewington Coal Measures. Each seam represents an active mining site in the region[2].
