The JAMG methanol to gasoline (MTG) plant is located in Shanxi Province China, coordinates 37.980144°,112.548523°Latitude: 37°58′48.518″N
Longitude: 112°32′54.683″E.

The plant, owned by ExxonMobil, uses Coal to Liquids Technology to demonstrate the coal to gasoline concept, with domestic gasification and methanol synthesis technologies and EMRE MTG^[1]. The plant started up in June 2009 and has a capacity of 2500 bpd.
