HRL Dual Gas CCS Project

In September 2009, HRL Limited has announced the formation of a special purpose company Dual Gas Pty Ltd to develop a demonstration project at Morwell, in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. The project will comprise a 550 megawatt power station project that will demonstrate new power generation technology at commercial-scale and it is planned that it will be designed to enable the retrofit of carbon dioxide capture technology when commercially viable[1].
