JOGMEC Yufutsu GTL Pilot Plant Project

The Japan Oil Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC)Yufutsu pilot plant uses third generation Gas to Liquids Technology to produce oil from syngas[1]
Testing commenced in 2002 at the pilot plant in Tomakomai-city, Hokkaido, coordinates 42.634302° 141.605372°Latitude: 42°38′3.487″N
Longitude: 141°36′19.339″E.
The capacity of the plant is 7 bpsd (ML pa). Subsequently a demonstration plant at Niigata was commissioned.
