General Description

The Model type for a feed in tariff system refers to the schedule by which tariffs are paid. In Australia there are two principle models, Gross and Net. for Gross feed in, the generator is paid for every kilowatt-hour they contribute to the grid. For a net feed in, they are only paid the tariff for every kilowatt-hour they feed into the grid in excess of their consumption.
