Solar Systems are developing a large PV electricity generation plant in the outskirts of Mildura. This development forms part of the federal government's Solar Flagships program, but is currently under threat due to Solar Systems going into receivership. The status of this project is still uncertain, however there was a recent mention by the premier of Victoria that the state is still keen to proceed with the plant development.
