Emissions from DME from Natural Gas
It appears from the shape of the graph under the current assumptions, that DME from Natural gas has higher emissions on a per km traveled basis than diesel? Could that be possible or is there an error in the model? --David.Neale 12:16, 14 February 2011 (EST)
Diesel LHV on a per L basis looks wrong.
The numbers from the spreadsheet are DME has a LHV of 37.8 7MJ/L. However based on the numbers from the Diesel page, these numbers should be LHV of 43MK/kg x 830 kg/m3 = 35.69 MJ/L.
A 5% difference. --David.Neale 13:27, 14 February 2011 (EST)
Assumptions around Traffic on highway 7 look high
Upon reviewing the provincial traffic data around Highway 7 - it appears that an assumption of 20000 may be high, given the low volumes on different parts of the highway. --David.Neale 14:30, 14 February 2011 (EST)
Fuel Consumption
The Diesel Truck page suggests that fuel consumption for a fully laden diesel truck is 50L per 100km. We are using a value of 20L per 100km. We don't have any reference for the DME Truck page.
